Other Sites

There are many CFS/ME/CFIDS/FMS sites and many of these sites have extensive lists of other sites. I am not going to try to duplicate their work but I will list a few sites that themselves have extensive lists.

Perhaps the most comprehensive site is ME-WEB.  For links specifically of interest to parents and youth see the listings provided by The CFIDS Association of America and by About.Com.  The association also has an extensive listings on other online resources with information about support groups, pen pals, and so forth.  Another very comprehensive listing that includes listings for fybromyalgia and other fatigue-related conditions is that maintained by Co-Cure

The Dmos Open Directory Project has a category for CFS in Youth and Young Adults that lists some unusual sites.

I particularly recommend Listening to CFIDS for the many articles on the experience of the CFIDS written by PWC (Persons With CFIDS).  I also recommend looking at the home pages of young people with CFS/ME/CFIDS, listed by the CFIDS Association of America.

For basic information about some of the obscure syndromes related to CFS:

         Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome,
Ovarian and pelvic (internal) varicose veins,
         Varicocele
         Chiari Malformation.

For NMH/POTS/Dysautonomia/COI and also for Chiari and Cervical Stenosis, I recommend Christopher Calder's site:

The American Syringomyelia Alliance Project has information about a variety of spinal problems (including Chiari Malformation) causing conditions that may simulate ME, CFS, or FMS.  There is also much information at the World Arnold Chiari Malformation Association.

I also recommend the CFS Web Ring accessed from the bottom of my main page.
